Fancy Like Nancy - Girls Night In
Every time Daddy is on call we have a little party with Mom. Our last party was exquisite. Rissie, Anna and I dressed up in our fanciest clothes and our favorite accessories. We visited with Grandma Lee who gave us our Fancy Nancy books, but we were so fancy, I am sure she thought we were movie stars! Then we had parfaits with sprinkles. Parfait is a fancy word for ice cream-sundae. We ate with our pinkies up and called each other darling. Then, we finished our party at the Living Room Theater. It was a splendid night!

The kids put this together in Bear Lake for the Jenkins Annual Snowmobile trip. Our poor kids...when we unloaded the car of our suitcases Lauren asked,"Do we live HERE now?"
Where's the fire?
Jon's dad tried to change the fire alarm but with it linked to the security system the fire department was automatically contacted. So after five minutes of obnoxiously loud alarms going off the truck showed up. Oops

Jon took Lauren to Hollywood Connection for some one on one time together. It was a hit. :)

2/27/08 Lately L. has been insisting that I call her Cinderella. Sometimes I can hear her upstairs call for CINDERELLA. in a mean "step sister" tone, then in a sweet voice will answer, "I'm coming." She failed to pick up her toys when I asked, so I tried her new name and it worked wonders.
2/29/08 So L. is watching her old favorite and after Dory explains to Marlon that memory loss runs in her family, Lauren says, "It runs in my family too, Dory."

These three happy girls just finished spinning in Daddy's chair. What kid doesn't LOVE that? When Story's mom came to pick her up she gave me the door prize she'd won. It was a full hour massage at a spa in town. It was HEAVENLY! Thanks Brooke.

Sunday doesn't come fast enough for L. to go with her teacher to Nursery. She will scout her out in S.M. and wave to her the rest of the meeting. She loves her.

Oh my heavens??? I'm not that dramatic. But BRAVO LADIES!!!! You will make you new bother tough as nails with all this girl power.
Oh gosh! You make it look so fun to have a house full of girls! I was looking at that post thinking, "why haven't I done that?" Then I remembered the boys might not be into feather boas. Addie needs to come visit those girls of yours for sure!
So fun!...maybe I can get Andrew to play with me :)...ha ha ha..sigh.

loved it! I had to share with Alece since her little Kenley is a Fancy Nancy connoisseur (that's a fancy word for "fan").
The best part is that I'll be there to hug and kiss them in only a couple of weeks! Oh, and loved the posh ice cream dishes.
What a perfectly delightful way to spend on-call nights! I'll have to remember this ... and tweak it for our little prince ;)
